Basic Meatloaf

I'm not always crazy about how the photos of our dinners come out. Tonight's dinner tasted wonderful but this photo does not do it justice. This was a just a basic meatloaf recipe with a few minor substitutions:

2 pounds meat (original recipe called for part beef, part pork, part veal, I used all turkey)
1 small onion chopped (I used a red onion and used about half of it)
1 egg
2/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper ( I used 1/2 teaspoon)
bread crumbs (since I used turkey meat, I needed something more to hold it together)

Mix everything but the meat in a bowl. Add the meat and mix. Place into mold and bake about an hour at 375 degrees.

Delicious!!

Audrey :)

My photos always come out poorly too. I have no plate presentation. Oh well. I have a blog that I haven't quite gotten off the ground that displays my poor food photos as well as a few recipes. I might work on it some more over the holiday weekend.
