Crockpot Applesauce

With winter here, I'm using my crockpot more and more. This is a fun recipe to make your own chunky applesauce.

8 baking apples
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Peel the apples, cut into chunks. Pour everything in the crockpot and mix. Cook on low 8-10 hours. It's fun to make this overnight and wake up to the wonderful smell in the morning.

Thanks for your comment on my blog last week, Audrey. I've enjoyed checking out your blogs... even subscribed in the reader. :) I'm looking forward to trying your crockpot applesauce... I have apples here that I've been intending to make into sauce so perfect timing. :)
