Blonde Brownies

My daughter made these. She wanted to take them to a friend. I asked her to please take photos and to leave me some to sample. She used milk chocolate chips making them extra sweet.

1 1/2 cups brown sugar (she used light brown sugar)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter (she did use real butter)
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix together the brown sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla. Mix until blended. Mix together the remaining ingredients, except the chocolate chips. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir until everything is mixed well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes.

These were so unbelievably good!

Yum! I love blondies, but I love chocolate too. This is the perfect compromise--blondies with chocolate! :D

Those look yummy. I always love a good blondie. And I am right there with your daughter, I love using milk chocolate chips most of the time because I like extra sweetness.
