Sweet and Sour Meatballs (dairy free)

I read a recipe that was so simple for sweet and sour meatballs, that I just had to try it. It was brown sugar, pineapple and meatballs. How much simpler could it get? We love Trader Joes and they had all 3 ingredients:

This was just so easy. One cup of brown sugar, two bags of meatballs and one can of pineapple. Mix it all together in a bowl and pour into a casserole dish. Bake anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the meatballs. The Trader Joes meatballs are already cooked and so 30 minutes was fine.

I served this over brown rice and we all enjoyed them. I'll admit I do like my homemade meatballs betters, but for a quick home made meal this worked great.

Why have I never purchased pre-made meatballs... you make me feel inspired, or lazy, you pick. LOL!

I've never purchased pre-made meatballs either. Sounds like a good, easy recipe when there's a time crunch. :)
