Beer Bread (dairy free)

We had some leftover beer from a party two years ago. I have been wanting to get rid of the beer and so today we made a beer bread:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
 Mix it all together and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

I've made beer muffins before. I will have to try your recipe for beer bread. It sounds great!
