Thanksgiving Recipes

I recently had the opportunity to vote on the cover of the Pillsbury Thanksgiving Cookbook. I was so pleased when the cookbook arrived in the mail.

There are over 120 recipes you can use for Thanksgiving including:

Turkey
Gravy
Stuffing
Cranberry
Potatoes
Vegetables
Salads
Desserts

We do not have any Thanksgiving traditions in my family. So I'm excited to try out some of these recipes. Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving dish you serve each year? Share some of your traditions with me.

I have a really easy, yummy pumpkin dessert that I make every year. I'll try to post it next week.

Each year two dishes I have to make for my family are caramel pie and "party potatoes," a really fattening but yummy potato dish!

My favorite is cooked carrots glazed with brown sugar. If I am back home for the holidays, my mom makes sure to make these even though almost everyone else in the family just has a taste -- I eat almost the whole batch myself, starting with the Thanksgiving dinner, then as leftovers over the next day or two.
