Pizza Casserole

We found this recipe on the Betty Crocker site and were very pleased with it:

3 1/3 cups Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 cups pizza sauce
8 ounces pepperoni (we used turkey pepperoni)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix milk and Bisquick until a dough forms. Place spoon sized clumps of dough on the bottom of casserole dish. Drizzle half of the sauce on top. Place half of the pepperoni on the sauce and top with half the cheese. Repeat layers.

This is how we made it. Next time we'll add in other ingredients such as olives, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers etc.

Baking time was 20-25 minutes. We cooked it 30 minutes and it was PERFECT. We read reviews that said twenty minutes left the crust doughy. Ours was perfect.

Hmmm, the recipe title sounds yummy, but Bisquick makes me skeptical. It seems like no matter what I make with Bisquick, it all tastes the same.

Wow, that sounds REALLY good! Will definitely try it.

Quilly...give this a try...see if your family likes it. We made a chicken and dumplings in the crockpot and it did NOT taste like the pizza casserole. Both use Bisquick :)
