Each Friday, Kailani, over at http://www.islandlife808.com/ hosts a wonderful meme called Aloha Friday. It's the end of the week, a chance to relax and get ready for the weekend. To celebrate Aloha Friday, you ask a question and answer others' questions.
My question for this week:
We are having some really hot weather here. What is your suggestion for a quick, easy, no cook meal at supper time?
Audrey :)
McDonald's. Is that bad? That's quick for me. Aloha and take care.

Have a picnic with sandwiches, salad, and fruit in your backyard :)
ReplyDeleteI hate turning on the oven when it's hot outside.
♥ Happy Friday! ♥
Salads with everything on them!
ReplyDeleteKiki totally took mine!
ReplyDeleteSo, I say... Delivery...
Let them get out in the heat!

ReplyDeleteI say pick up some food on the restaurant! Or order in: pizza!! Or if you want to stay on the healthier cheaper side: salads, hot dogs and corn always make it for a good meal:)
ReplyDeleteAloha!!

Sandwiches with all the fixin's. Fresh bread, sliced meats, cheese, tomato, lettuce, mayo, etc... Easy, quick, and no cooking !
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others - sandwiches of some type would be easy.
ReplyDeleteWe go with sandwiches and salad. Very simple and no cooking is involved.
ReplyDeleteHow about more "special" sandwiches, like pita pockets or wraps?
ReplyDeleteI like tuna salad in the Tomato. You just cut a tomato like it was a flower, but so not cut all the way down.( these are section looking). then put the tuna salad in the middle. Yumm.
ReplyDeletePasta salad with tuna in it. Easy to make in advance and have chilled and ready. Good luck and stay cool!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely subs. Get some hoagie rolls, some deli meat & cheese and have a make your own sub night.

I say sandwiches, salad and fruit.
ReplyDeleteWe will usually go and pick something up, we love Chipotle!
ReplyDeleteHomemade subs on Italian or French Bread, yum!
ReplyDeleteWhen it is hot here and I don't want to run the oven we eat a lot of different salads. I love a good spinach salad with fresh strawberries on top. Yum!
ReplyDeleteOrder Pizza! I love using my crock-pot in the summer, it doesn't heat up the house. I have a cook book called Fix it and Forget it, its full of crock-pot meals.
ReplyDeleteMy kids like salads a lot in the summer as well as fruit plates!
ReplyDeletesalads? we make a lot of pressed sandwiches too
ReplyDeleteCracker sandwiches are really easy! Egg salad and tuna salad involve a little cooking but are easy and yummy :)
ReplyDeleteIf you cook alot one day during the week or weekend and freeze portions, then you can just reheat and add a side dish.
ReplyDeleteOr Subway is healthy.
I like to get those rotisserie chickens and fresh bread with a quick side. Then, it seems like I cooked to the family:)
ReplyDeletelol...eating out! If hubby says no then salads and sandwiches work great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun and for stopping by The IE MommY!
Pizza or salads.
ReplyDeleteI'd agree with the ordering takeout. That's the easiest when it's too hot to cook.
ReplyDeletePasta salad, it's easy and you just have to toss everything into a bowl!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you from MBC...

I'm going to have to be repetitive here and say sandwiches and salads. Hope you had a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat about a cold tuna or chicken sandwich made of some leftover chicken or canned tuna? That sounds easy. And yummy too! :D
